Remote Learning and Systems
If you need any support with accessing our systems, such as Class Charts, SOCS and DPR, please email onlinesupport@reddencourtcloud.co.uk
For any queries regarding remote learning, students are encouraged to communicate with their teacher via Google Classroom or by emailing them directly.
Remote Education Provision
RM Unify
RM Unify provides students with a landing home page for all of our other systems using a single sign on service. This can be accessed on any web browser but we recommend Google Chrome for more effective use of the Google Workspace. All students already have access and know their login details.
Google Workspace for Education
All students have school google accounts giving them free access to Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites and much more.
How to access:
These services can be accessed on any web browser on any device but we recommend Google Chrome for more effective use of all features. You can also download the free apps on your mobile or tablet device. All students already have access via RM Unify and know their login details otherwise, which is their email address (...@reddencourtcloud.co.uk).
Google Classroom
All students have access to a Google Classroom for each of the subjects on their timetable. Teachers share resources and assignments through this system and students can submit work and communicate with their teacher using this. Some subjects may use alternative sites to share and set their work more frequently and this will be communicated clearly with students.
How to access:
Google Classroom can be accessed on any web browser on any device but we recommend Google Chrome for more effective use of all features. You can also download the free app on your mobile or tablet device. All students already have access via RM Unify and know their login details otherwise, which is their email address (...@reddencourtcloud.co.uk).
Class Charts
Student Link Parent/Carer Link
We use Class Charts for attendance, homework setting, behaviour tracking, rewards and sanctions including detentions.
How to access:
All students already have access via RM Unify or this link and have received their unique login code required for entry into the system. All parents/carers have also received details about how to login through their own account here. There are also separate Class Charts apps for students and parents that can be downloaded on to any mobile or tablet via the app stores, which we recommend so that you will receive notifications.
Dynamic Progress Report (DPR)
The DPR goes well beyond traditional reporting systems to connect students, parents, carers and teachers to tracking live student progress against personalised key learning objectives. These learning objectives have been carefully selected for students to secure their understanding. Whatever their academic starting point, students are given clear manageable learning journeys to make sure they do not fall behind the school curriculum. Each student has their own portal, which they access online, where parents, carers and teachers can monitor their individual progress. They are constantly updated, which means families can access up to date information on their child at any moment.
We have launched this with all KS4 students (Years 10-11), who have already received an extensive printed copy of their report and access details, which were referred to at parent/carer consultation evenings this academic year. We will soon be launching with all KS3 students (Years 7-9).
How to access:
Click on the RMUnify tile or go to https://dpr.education/
On the login screen, click on the Google button and login with your school student google account.
SOCS
SOCS allows students to see what extra curricular clubs are available to attend around school and allows them to sign up to activities which interest them. Students can also see what enhancements are taking place in KS4 and when they are on. Attendance is monitored at all clubs and enhancements.
How to access:
Student log-in
1) Access the RCS SOCS website; https://www.socscms.com/login/17769
2) Select ‘pupil/parent’ from the options at the top (rather than staff).
4) Fill in your school email address. Click on ‘FORGOT PASSWORD’. This will email a link to your school email address where you will then be able to set your unique password.
5) Re-enter the website with your new password.
GCSE Pod
GCSE Pod provides students with audio-visual content that is rigorously quality assured and mapped to all major GCSE and exams boards. There are also Check and Challenge tasks that students can complete independently at any time. This award-winning platform is aimed mainly at Key Stage 4 students but we have managed to secure licences for all year groups to provide extra challenge and opportunities for our whole cohort. Watch this video for more details on GCSE Pod and the impact it can have.
How to access:
Username: school email address e.g. jsmith@reddencourtcloud.co.uk
Password: RCS + date of birth e.g. for 4th September 2005 - RCS04092005
*if your surname or email address has an apostrophe in it then you need to remove this for the username e.g. jo’connor becomes joconnor@reddencourtcloud.co.uk
Other Virtual Learning Systems
Some subjects at Redden Court School also use a range of other virtual learning systems to support the progress of students inside and outside of schools, such as Sparx (Maths), Active Learn (MFL) and Seneca.
How to access:
Subject areas have already shared login details with their students along with instructions of how to access. If there are any queries, students should contact their teacher directly for these other virtual learning systems mentioned above.
RCS Curriculum - Live Schemes of Work
Here are the links to our live schemes of work which provide some guidance of the learning that takes place in each year group throughout the year. Please note that these are subject to change as we are constantly adapting our curriculum to suit the needs of our students.

RCS Super Curriculum
As part of our extensive personal development offer, each subject area has developed a wide range of engagement activities, opportunities and experiences for each year group to explore their subject more outside of school. These include things to try at home (do), places to go (experience), things to watch or listen to (engage), things to research and reflect on (think) and things to read or websites to visit (read).
RCS Learning Menus
We sometimes provide students with an extra range of learning activities in each subject area which can be accessed at any time. We encourage you to look at some of our previously shared learning menus for some extra choices of remote and further learning.
RCS Activities
We regularly promote British values and celebrate key events with a range of extra activities from each subject area that students can complete remotely at any time, such as the Queen's Platinum Jubilee activities below
